And it's a breeze to use − the rotary switch has just three settings: oscillation, low amplitude and high amplitude.
The maximum amplitude is considerably stronger than on standard machines. Layer thicknesses up to 50 cm on gravel and sand and 40 cm on mixed soil are no problem. However, when compacting over pipelines and cables, the BOMAG single drum roller has another trick up its sleeve: in oscillation mode, the BW 177 BVO-5 PL compacts particularly gently, but no less effectively.

The BOMAG BW 177 BVO-5 PL is an investment worth making. The single drum roller is already equipped in the standard version with a highly wear-resistant drum, which impresses with its exceptionally long service life. And, as is customary for BOMAG: state-of-the-art measuring technology for surface covering compaction control is optionally available.
